Social Entrepreneurship Accelerator Exchange is an intensive program of social entrepreneurship for young innovators to solve surrounding social issues in their community. It brings together aspiring change makers from different countries to Algeria, in order to give young Algerian passionate innovators the right tools to kick-start their own ventures. The participants will spend one week of intensive, professional courses and workshops with the qualified trainers, and hopefully unlock their change making ideas, team building, project realization and many other skills are to be gained during the program. The closing of the program will be a competition to choose the best social innovative idea. The project’s vision is to spread the knowledge about social entrepreneurship among the Algerian youth, to engage them in the society in a creative way according to their thoughts and ideas and introduce them to international social entrepreneurship. The program is committed to widen young people’s positive impact in the society and encourage new initiatives in social entrepreneurship.

The project is open for all European citizens aged between 20 – 25 who have deep understanding about social entrepreneurship, experience in the field, and want to be exposed to Algerian culture.

The organizers with support of the sponsors will cover all expenses during the training except the flight tickets. There is no participation fee.

Admit it, most of us want to live like the cast of The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE), especially when they bring their designer heels, gravity-defying bikinis and vajazzled ummm...parts...to Marbella. Well now you can experience exactly what it's like to party with the best of them, but don't worry, you don't have the embrace the side budgie smugglers like some of the lads did...! (If you don't know what we're talking about, you're probably better off)!

First on the list is visiting a beach club. You simply cannot say you’ve experienced the true TOWIM (The Only Way Is Marbella) lifestyle without parading round the pool in your most glamourous swimsuit, and of course your towering wedges. On their most recent visit to Marbella, the cast visited Plaza Beach, an ultracool, newly renovated beach club, right in the heart of Puerto Banus. Choose from the cabana beds to soak up the sun or cool off in one of the Jacuzzis, but make sure you have a glass of champagne in your hand at all times!

You’ll be getting a bit peckish after all that dancing and mingling, so next on the agenda is food. The stars visited a few places to get their food fix; returning to one of their favourites La Sala, the ultimate social and dining experience. A table out on their terrace is a must if you can get it, great for people watching, and their expansive menu means you can dine there again and again choosing something completely different each time. The Chateaubriand for Two is one of the most extravagant dishes – very TOWIM – served on a platform so you can really turn heads. The vibe at La Sala changes from around midnight, where the music is ramped up and the drinks are free flowing.

To continue on the party, the TOWIE cast never misses a night partying at Aqwa Mist, located directly underneath La Sala so it’s the perfect place to head after your dinner has gone down. It has the ultimate in VIP touches, including a waterfall feature entrance, revolving disco ball DJ booth, state-of-the-art sound system and even a private Super VIP room equipped with its own rock pool Jacuzzi! Very Essex dahling! You may even catch a glimpse of other celebrities whilst you are there, as they often hold concerts throughout the summer months, so you really will be brushing your shoulders with the elite.

El Gran Gatsby is another favourite eatery of the cast, with stunning panoramic views over Puerto Banus from their back terrace, where you can gaze at the million pound super-yachts as you devour their fine cuisine. There’s a selection of light bites if you only want a small snack, or you can choose from oak charcoal grilled meats or the freshest fish dishes.

After filling your bellies, head straight upstairs to Pangea, with its luxury open air terrace and a party vibe lasting long into the night. Buy drinks at the bar orprebook bottles to ensure you’ve never got an empty glass. Its cool plush décor, white leather seats and uninterrupted views of Puerto Banus really makes you feel like a star!

Whilst you're in Puerto Banus, the way to really live like a star is to hire a luxury yacht for the afternoon. Imagine the heads turning as you sail out on the Meditteranean Seas on your own private charter with a group of your mates, sipping champagne and indulging on delicious canapes...

Tibu Banus is another locale that the cast of TOWIE ensures is on their list of venues to visit. Located on the main Antonio Banderas Square, you’ll never miss it, as there’s usually a queue of people wanting to get in from midnight. Recently renovated to the highest standards, Tibu offers many areas to enjoy; our favourite is the cool open-air terrace area, great for cooling down on those hot summer nights. This is the ultimate in glamour and sophistication, and is another one where prebooking bottles is a great idea.

So there you have it, the ultimate guide to living life like the elite. We would recommend going to La Sala and Aqwa Mist on the Thursday night, then on the Friday heading to El Gran Gatsby for some fantastic grub and then onto Sintillate at Pangea upstairs. Saturday would be good to hire a luxury yacht for the afternoon and then head another Sintillate event at Tibu in the evening, and then on the Sunday, relax, or party even harder, at a beach club.

When the Berlin Wall was still standing, those first few years saw the maximum number of participants at around 400. Three days before German reunification in September 1990, 25,000 runners ran through the Brandeburg Gate and the Berlin Marathon then established itself as one of the fastest marathons in the world. Today, the organisers cap the limit of participants to 40,000, and these spots get nabbed within 3 or 4 hours of places opening up and running bibs going ‘on sale’.

Open to athletes from all over the world and at last count, runners from over 120 different countries have participated, but this is not just for those on foot, the race is also including wheelchair racers, handbikers and power walkers.

These days there’s a lot more to the Berlin Marathon than cheering these long distance athletes around the streets of Berlin. The event itself has grown into a celebration of all things sport, fitness and music with other proceedings happening all over the city coinciding and culminating with the race.

An excellent initiative to gets kids involved in fitness and in racing on foot is the Bambini run, held at the Tempelhof airport on September 27th, the day before the big race, starting at 11am. Children under 10 can participate in two different categories of age and length of track.

Tempelhof is a great location for such an event as there is plenty of space in a contained area, a good track (the old airstrip!) and it runs along side the Berlin Vital Expo which is in the aircraft hanger, and where you register your children to run at only €3 a pop! Great fun for the whole family!

Emerging in the 80’s from the presence of a drumming group and cheerleaders encouraging the runners on at the 35 kilometre mark, in recent years this has turned into a music point every 500 metres serving as inspiration and motivation for the athletes to keep going as well as some entertainment for the spectators who are there to cheer as well.

The Berlin Marathon 2014 is on September 28th from 9am and the track starts and finishes in Mitte between the Brandenburger Tor and the Kleiner Stern on Straße des 17. Juni. Spectators are welcome to watch from the sidelines at any point along the 42.195 kilometres of track but the beginning and end are particularly exciting spots to soak up this epic long haul in all it’s glory. Bring your enthusiasm and help cheer on those professional and amateur runners, from all over the world, who have come to Berlin especially for this sporting event. It’ll be pretty exciting to be part of.

New Zealand and the bungy jump go together like a hand and glove. It was in this land of deep-cut gorges and rugged canyons that the sport’s pioneers first began casting themselves from the cliff edges and plummeting to the ground below, while today, from the adventure capital of Queenstown on the South Island, to the cityscape of Auckland on the northern Pacific coast, there are plenty bungy sites and swing operators just waiting to get the adrenaline flowing.

We’ve put together a selection of the country’s seven best bungy spots, ranging from definitive descents through the canyons of Central Otago, to thrilling jumps in the geothermal landscape of Taupo and Rotorua. Enjoy!

Strewn between the rugged hills on the banks of the Nevis River, visitors to theNevis Bungy and Swing in Queenstown are faced with the highest descent in all ofNew Zealand. With more than eight-and-a-half seconds of uninterrupted freefall and 134 metres of vertical line, it’s clear why this one has become one of the country’s most definitive adventure experiences. Many guests opt to double up on the adrenaline with a post-bungy ride on the New Zealand Swing - the largest of its kind in the world - while others are content with their shaky hands, complimentary jumper's certificate and official bungy jumper t-shirt.

It was on the Kawarau Bridge Bungy just over 25 years ago adrenaline junkies and revered bungy pioneers, Henry van Asch and AJ Hackett, first began to plummet unsuspecting tourists into the depths of Queenstown’s Kawarau Gorge. Today, their site on the historic suspension bridge of the 1880s is hallowed ground for extreme sportsters the world over - representing the birthplace of the modern bungy craze and one of the most-coveted descents on the whole planet. Jumpers can choose between classic single-man bungy, water-touching bungy and even tandem bungy for those who want to share in the exhilaration.

Perched tenuously over the skyline of Queenstown, with soaring views of Lake Wakatipu and the snowy Southern Alps in the distance, The Ledge Bungy & Swing unquestionably offers up one of the town's most dramatic descents. It’s also one of the most dynamic spots for bungy in New Zealand, with bespoke harness designs that allow for some seriously creative twists and turns mid-air, and a whopping 400-metre gap between the ledge and the rooftops of the city. What’s more, in the winter visitors can choose to jump after-dark - plummeting through the Queenstown air against the towering mountain silhouettes of the 'Remarkables'.

If you’re looking for a bungy jump with a difference, the Shotover Canyon Swingmay just be the thing. Set more than 100-metres above the turquoise waters of the gushing Shotover River, this swing-style pendulum descent offers a totally different adrenaline rush. Guests are harnessed in on the protruding platform before being cast from the side in a variety of different ways, crashing 60m into the heart of the canyon and then swinging sideways through the gorge. Not only is it a great way to taste the heart-pumping rush of bungy, but it’s also a fantastic introduction to the beautiful and rugged scenery of the Shotover Canyon, Queenstown style.

Now in the masterful hands of the aforementioned bungy guru, AJ Hackett, this 40-metre descent from the walkways of the Auckland Harbour Bridge has become a veritable staple of the city’s adventure line up. Not only does the Auckland Bridge Climb & Bungy offer the only salt water, ocean touch in all of New Zealand, but it’s the perfect way to catch panoramic views of the city’s iconic Waitemata Harbour.

Harnesses and safety ropes abound at the Agroventures Adventure Park inRotorua, while some seriously wallet-friendly prices and a less daunting location in a purpose-built facility in Paradise Valley have made this one a favourite choice among beginners and budget travellers alike. That said, don’t come expecting a walk in the park either, because the descent still stands at a whopping 43 metres and this time it’s North Island’s hard ground staring back from the depths below. 

The folk at Taupo Bungy are the North Island masters of the water descent. With a location just under 50 metres above the azure flow of the Waikato River, they are well practiced at calibrating their gear for every type of splash - from full body submersion to tip-of-the-finger taps. In addition, there’s the opportunity to participate in tandem falls here, and the cliff-top platform is also suited for swing style descents right across the Waikato gorge.
