University of Edinburgh is inviting applications for MBA scholarships for international students. The scholarships will be deducted from tuition fees. MBA Achievement Scholarships, MBA Diversity Scholarships and MBA Merit Scholarships have value for £5,000 and MBA Leadership Scholarships have a value of £10,000. The scholarships will be awarded on-achievement, diversity, merit and leadership. The application deadline is 31st of August 2014.

Eligibility:
-The scholarships will be deducted from tuition fees. Applicants who are sponsored by their employer or are in receipt of a full scholarship are not eligible for these scholarships.
-If an applicant is successful in being awarded a scholarship, but subsequently declines their offer of admission to the MBA, the scholarship will be withdrawn and awarded to another applicant. An award will be withdrawn if a student fails to meet the conditions set by the University.
-Recipients of scholarships will be expected to participate occasionally as ambassadors for the MBA programme and the Business School during and after their programme.
-Successful applicants enrolled on the Executive MBA will receive half the amount of the scholarship awarded in each of the two years of the programme.

Scholarship Open for International Students: International students can apply for these scholarships.

Scholarship Description: The Business School will offer four MBA Achievement Scholarships, each with a value of £5,000, to candidates who can demonstrate successful prior achievement in contributing to the improvement of a business, social or public organisation. The Business School will offer three MBA Diversity Scholarships, each with a value of £5,000, to candidates who enhance the diversity of cultures or perspectives on the Edinburgh MBA. The Business School will offer five MBA Leadership Scholarships, each with a value of £10,000, to candidates who can demonstrate strong leadership experience or potential and have at least 5 year’s work experience. The Business School will offer three MBA Merit Scholarships, each with a value of £5,000, to candidates who can demonstrate exceptional prior qualifications. This scholarship is available to both FT and Executive MBA students.

Number of award(s): Up to 15 scholarships are offered.

Duration of award(s): Scholarships are offered for full time.

Selection criteria: The scholarships will be awarded on-Achievement, Diversity, Merit and Leadership.

Notification: Successful applicants will be notified of the result of your scholarship application within a month of the deadline.  To secure a scholarship, the successful applicant must have paid their programme deposit within two weeks of being offered the scholarship.
